Cookie policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. This site also uses local storage (a similar browser technology) to remember one thing: your consent choice.
2. Our model: essential only, until you say otherwise
By default, dubase.io sets only essential security cookies. Optional tools — analytics and embedded maps — load solely after you choose “Accept all” in the consent banner. Your choice is stored in your browser under the key db_consent_v1 so the banner does not reappear on every visit.
3. Essential (no consent required)
- __cf_bm · Cloudflare · about 30 minutes · distinguishes automated traffic (bots) to protect the site.
- cf_clearance · Cloudflare · about 30 days · remembers that you passed a security check so it is not repeated.
- cf_chl_* · Cloudflare Turnstile · session · protects the contact form from automated spam; set only when you interact with the form.
- db_consent_v1 · Dubase · local storage, until you clear this site’s data · remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies.
4. Optional (only after “Accept all”)
- Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_* · up to 2 years): aggregated usage statistics. The Analytics library is loaded only after consent — and only when analytics is enabled on this site. More: Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Maps: the embedded office map loads only after consent, when its section approaches your screen.
5. What we do not use
- No marketing or retargeting pixels (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or similar).
- No Google reCAPTCHA — the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a more privacy-respecting alternative.
6. Managing your choice
On your first visit you can accept or reject optional cookies in the banner. To change your decision later, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and reload — the banner will ask again. You can also block or delete cookies entirely from your browser, though rejecting essential ones may break the contact form’s anti-bot protection.
7. Updates and contact
If we add tools that require consent, this policy is updated first and consent is requested before anything loads. Questions: the contact form.
